RECENT COMMISSIONS
GUNS AND ROSES GRAVESHAM BOROUGH COUNCIL
Made from steel with a concrete base, this piece plays with the juxtaposition between the structural qualities of steel and weld and the organic elements of the flowers. Using weld not only as a constructive element but also as an organic, decorative element, this piece challenges the conventions placed on the materials used.
MEDWAY TOGETHER STRONGER
Created in conjunction with Charlie Noel Glass and Rustcycle Creations, this project consists of 5 statues, each representing one of the 5 Covid 19 safety messages. Made from Steel washers and nuts, each statue stands on a concrete plinth and encases a glass heart within the chest cavity.
I was responsible for the artwork and braille around the bases and the two child statues.
